Every summer, theaters and venues around your local neighborhoods usually have a movie night or day special. Check out the events page for big outdoor spots, university or schools for events. For those in Southern California, there are plenty of LA and OC Spots.

-UCIrvine has free screenings of movies to UCI students, faculty, staff and visitors in room HIB 100 every Thursday evening starting at 7:00pm.
-Triangle Squares Cinemas is showing a diffferent film every week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 9:45am. They will also be offering $1 hotdogs and popcorn.
-Alfredo’s Beach Club in Long Beach runs free summer movies on the beach, on a giant inflatable screen starting at approximately 8:00pm. Movies start at dusk, bring a chair and a blanket because it get a little chilly. Maybe some snacks, or you can buy them there.
-Edward’s Theater at the Irvine Spectrum, along with other participating Regal Theaters, will be showing $1 movies all summer long! The movies start at 10:00am on Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week. Tickets are available first-come, first served and limited to the size of the theater. You have to get your tickets on the day of the show, at the theater box office.
-Starplex Cinemas, also known as the Woodbridge Movies 5 in Irvine, shows movies for only $1 on Tuesdays, and $2 at other times.
